Be'an a baby

(Mrs. Bean, don't read this)

My oldest friend (a term which is kind of a misnomer, given she's not the oldest person with whom I'm friends, but rather the person with whom I've remained in contact the longest), and her husband welcomed a baby girl to their family about a month ago. With my general fear of itty bitty babies followed by my cold, I didn't have a chance to gift the newly minted child.

And seriously, Mrs. Bean, stop reading.

I had seen the bleach pen t-shirt designs on pinterest when I first signed up, but didn't have a chance to try it out until now. It seemed like the perfect idea: personalized onesies. The baby, whose first name I'll leave to your imagination, has the last name: "Bean," so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to have some fun. I spent a Sunday afternoon bleaching lima, kidney and soy beans onto onesies. The green bean, naturally, couldn't be bleached, so I bought a white onesie and a green sharpie. I decided I wasn't aiming for perfection, so it was a fun project.
