Curating my Closet

First of all - thanks for all the words of support on my thesis defense - which went very very well! So glad to be done it, though!

I've debated whether this skirt is worth keeping. However, when I looked back at how I'd worn it, and discovered I'd had issues with it since Day 1, I figured I'd let it go.

Why did I buy this skirt?
It was $4 at Superstore, and different from the rest of my skirts.

What worked?
It was different, and was great for layering.

What didn't work?
The skirt wasn't my style. And while I did like it for layering, it had a horrible static issue

How have I worn it?

  1. I can't stand it when skirts are too static-y like that. Definitely a good reason to let it go!

  2. Well you did get a great bunch of wear out of it. It looked fabulous, however staticky pieces that won't stop always turn me off. My favorite look was the first one and last one. I really like the brown with white.

  3. I'm like that. You really try and WANT for a garment to work, but it just doesn't cut it for you. In the end, it's what you're comfortable with. Glad your thesis defense went well :)

  4. I really like how you used it as a layering piece (lightbulb!) but if you don't love something you shouldn't keep it. Glad your thesis defense is over and went well *phew* you must be relieved!
