You know what's fun? Downtown adventures. You know what isn't? Downtown adventures BEFORE stores open. On a cold and snowy day. I traipsed through the skywalks and the underground concourses, only after discovering the library wasn't even set to open for FOUR HOURS.
If I would have known I would be discovering the mazes (it was fun, I wouldn't have just wandered blindly to kill time), I would have worn better shoes.
But nonetheless, I'm glad I dressed based around outwear again. Even when I got home, it was out of jacket and into blankets. Brrrrrr.I chose a shirt that had a cowl for some additional warmth - but I should have gone for a scarf. And a toque. I did remember mitts though!
I'm famous for going to stores on holidays and being surprised to find them closed. My mind doesn't think at times.
ReplyDeleteAs nice as your shoes are, I miss the old days when you posed without them.
Ugg, I hate when that happens! I tried going to a coffee shop on a holiday one time that I swore would be open and then it wasn't and I was NOT happy, lol.
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the cold, when it's chilly out I go straight from a jacket to blankets too!!
4 hours?! Yikes. And that is SUCH a perfect leather jacket. I'm always on the lookout for one, but no luck. Well, I should say I find lots of them - but nowhere near my budget. Heheh.

What a fabulous jacket!
ReplyDelete...but you sure looked cute! I hate that - when you think a store/place/whatever is open at a certain time and you get there and it is NOT open. (Esp 4 hours away from being not open!)
