Since I've been trying to work on my knees, I've been wearing mostly flats. In winter, that meant the same couple pairs of boots, and the odd ballet flat. All summer, I've been rotating the same 3 pairs of sandals, and one pair of ballet flats.
It wasn't until I was tidying our front closet that I realized we were outgrowing our apartment -- we had way too many shoes. I was able to move a couple to my secondary shoe storage unit (also known as the bedroom closet), but I realized most of the shoe mess was Scott's. You know, the guy who used to only own 2 pairs of shoes. I'm not complaining -- I'm much happier about his shoe selection now, but in that moment, I realized that I wasn't using my full shoe wardrobe -- even the ones that are pretty close to flat!
So Friday, before we left on vacation, I wore my favourite yellow shoes. While I didn't have time to grab a picture, I thought I'd feature the three ways I've styled them on the blog. I know they got more use last summer, but sadly, I had to dig pretty far into the archives for these!
