Every child in their mid twenties to mid thirties likely recognizes one song. The minute "Do do do dah do do duh" hits my ears, I'm 8 years old, racing down to the basement screaming: "TWO PLAYER!! TWO PLAYER!!!", a phrase which has now become synonymous within my family with wanting in on whatever is happening, whether it's playing Super Mario Bros., or eating popcorn.
There little phrases like "Two player" that populate my day-to-day life both at home and at work. While it's one part laziness, perhaps one part rudeness, it's also one part familiarity.
Today I'm thankful for friends and family alike, for whom quick phrases mean so much more.
